Hey, friend! I’m so excited to team up with you to pull off something that’s going to be absolutely incredible.

The 10-Minute Scaling Tactics Audio Summit is a 5-day virtual event that was created to help business owners grow or scale by offering highly specific, targeted strategies, tactics, or resources that have worked to help YOU in your business – presented by a robust and diverse lineup of speakers.

We are looking for speakers who can boil down and present a narrow concept rather than something broad. For example:

Instead of speaking on a challenge’s impact on launch revenue ➡️ one specific aspect of the challenge (affiliate strategy, gamifiying it somehow, etc) affected the launch.

We are also not looking for topics that would only be relevant to someone who is brand new to business or not yet making money. (Nothing on how to start, or how to make your first $Xk, etc!)

Having hosted summits in the past, I can attest to how transformational they can be, both for our businesses and for the attendees… and also it’s not lost on me that virtual summits have become somewhat saturated, especially in the business niche.

This is a very different type of summit concept, though, and the handful of folks I’ve mentioned it to (who are generally burnt out on summits) have responded VERY favourably… and even asked if there was a waitlist available!

How the Summit Will Work

Let’s do a quick rundown of how the whole thing will work.

The event will run from 15-19 July 2024 with multiple pre-recorded talks delivered interview-style. Talks will include ~10 minutes of strategy bookended by a minute or so introducing you + your topic and another minute for you to pitch a free offer, which we’ll make as easily accessible to them as possible. All together, each talk (or “episode,” since it will be released via private podcast feed) should be absolutely no more than 15 minutes.

Along with the private podcast, there will be a Facebook group for attendees to hang out in, hold each other accountable, and ask all of us additional questions. You are encouraged to check in with the group to connect with the attendees and provide even more value, although this is not required.

Leading up to the summit, we’ll have one week of promotion. You’ll be provided with email swipe copy, social media swipe copy, and social media graphics to make it all easy! I’ll even have a suggested posting/sending schedule for you to make promo easy to outsource to a VA.

The summit will be free to attend, with each day’s drop of new talks available to listen to for 48 hours.

However, registrants will have the option to upgrade to a VIP ticket which will include one year’s access to listen in. The VIP upgrade will be quite low cost ($22), so we expect it to convert pretty well, and it creates an opportunity for you to bring in affiliate commissions. Yay!

What I’ll Need From You

So this all sounds great, but what kind of work does it require of you? Let’s chat about it! My goal is to make this all as easy as humanly possible so we can sit back, relax, and provide great value while growing our businesses.

1. BASIC INFORMATION

The first thing I’ll need is some very basic information from you so I can finish up our registration page.

This information includes:

  • Name

  • Working title of your presentation

  • Brief description of your presentation (~50 words)

  • Headshot

This information is due ASAP but by Friday 7 June 2024 at the very latest.

2. YOUR TALK

Next up is your talk (or episode)! This will be recorded in interview format: 

  • First, I’ll ask you to introduce yourself and your tactic or strategy (~1 minute)
  • Next, I’ll ask clarifying questions about your tactic or strategy, which I’m happy to coordinate with you on how to best tee you up to talk about anything specifically you’d like (~10 minutes)
  • Lastly, you can let people know about a FREE resource to help them implement or action your tactic or strategy – and get them on your email list! (~1 minute)

The most important thing with your talk is that it should cover something highly specific so we can chat nitty gritty details of why it worked so well, rather than offer a birds-eye-view or generally vague overview.

You’ll have two options for recording: 

  1. You can schedule a quick Zoom with me to knock it out all in one shot
  2. You can schedule a day in Voxer where we can voice note back and forth throughout the day as time allows (then my team will download and make the magic happen to edit it together!)

It should be super simple and low-lift for you either way!

All talks should be recorded no later than Friday 14 June 2024.

3. PROMOTION

The power of an online summit comes from a group of experts coming together for a single cause. The joint promotion that happens because of that is a huge benefit to everyone involved.

Because of that, we do ask every speaker commits to promoting the summit a miminum of once to their full email list and once on their most active social media channel.

You will want to share using your affiliate link so you can get in on the 50% commission that will come from any VIP upgrades 😉

Swipe copy and graphics will be provided once everyone has submitted their basic info. 

4. SPEAKER RESOURCE

In addition to your talk, you should also provide a supplemental resource to your presentation. This can be something specifically created for the summit or a resource you already publicly offer which aligns with your tactic or strategy.

While you are welcome to offer something like a free call, we’ve found these tend to not convert as well because people tend to assume they’re a sales call in disguise, even if you explicitly say it’s not.

But as long as there’s no cost, and it’s relevant, we’re happy to help you promote whatever is most supporitve for your business and goals – and we’ll also push this out in the Facebook group and to our mailing list to get as many eyes on you as possible!

Payment details

While summits are great for overall visibility and making new connections, a little extra cash never hurts either, right?

We have set up an affiliate program for our VIP upgrade where you’ll receive a 50% commission from all sales from traffic you refer to the event. 

To keep this super simple, there will only be one price point (all in USD): 

Before 19 July at 5pm, the price will be $22, of which you will earn $11. (After which time, the offer disappears forever!)

After the summit, we will be moving into the end of the Founding Member launch of our networking membership at Biz + Bubbly. If you choose to help us promote this, you can also receive a 30% commission on all memberships for as long as someone stays a member!

The pricing structure for the membership (USD):

$1 for the first 14 days, then
$49/mo ($14.70 per member per month paid) or
$490/year ($147 per member per year paid)

(After 31 July, the price will go up!)

Yay for recurring revenue you have to do virtually no work for! 🎉

To be clear, our membership is VERY unlikely to conflict / compete with any of your offers. While there is some education involved, this is not a coaching-based program. It is specifically designed to help build strategic relationships with referral partners, visibility opportunities, etc. 

To make it as easy as possible for you to generate extra income, you will be provided with email swipe copy, social media copy, and social share graphics, however, you’re more than welcome to write your own copy and even run your own Facebook ads using your affiliate link!

As with all affiliate promotions, be sure to disclose that you’re an affiliate when sharing with your audience.

Affiliate commissions and stipend payouts will be made on or before 31 July 2024 for the VIP upgrade. If you choose to promote the membership, any affiliate commissions earned will be paid out 30 days after each payment is received on the 1st (or first Monday) of each month.

    • Provide your basic info ASAP

    • Schedule your promotional emails/posts once promo resources are available
    • Join the Facebook group which will host additional summit activities

FAQ

Q: Will I receive the names and email addresses of everyone who attends the summit or access my talk?

A: NO. The only way to receive names and email addresses from the summit is to offer the resource that goes along with your talk. This keeps us all in integrity and GDPR / CCPA compliant!

Q: Am I able to track my affiliate sales?

A: Yes! After you create your account (via Thrivecart) you can refer back to it to see how many sales you have received at any time.

Q: What if someone clicks on my registration / affiliate link but doesn’t take the upgrade right after registering, then comes back later to purchase?

A: No worries… there will be a 90-day cookie attached to your link, so you will be credited for the sale regardless of when they come back to purchase. This also means that if you promote the waitlist, anyone who joins the waitlist with your link and purchases later will be credited to you!

Q: Am I required to promote the summit?

A: Yes, we do require all participants to send a minimum of one dedicated email and create one dedicated social media post on their most engaged channel. We do this not to ‘force’ you to promote, but to ensure that we only have speakers who are actually interested in being a part of the community and spreading the word about how valuable this summit is.

Q: What if I’m not available to interact in the Facebook community during the summit?

A: Speakers are not required to join the Facebook community or interact with others – however, it may be a missed opportunity to make additional connections!

Q: What if I know someone who would be a great fit to speak?

A: Please let them know that we’d love to hear from them! Their first step should be to fill the form at the bottom of this page (so feel free to pass on the link), and let them know to include that you referred them in the “anything else we should know” field!
